Dr. Cheryl Baldwin is the CEO of Lead Smart Management Consulting, where she partners with colleges, universities, corporations, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations to develop executive education programs, strengthen leadership capacity, and drive organizational success.
A nationally recognized executive education and workforce development leader, Dr. Baldwin brings more than two decades of experience designing and leading leadership development, executive education, and professional learning initiatives. The majority of her career has been spent in senior leadership roles at major colleges and universities in New York, where she built innovative executive education and workforce development programs, established strategic partnerships, and expanded organizational impact. She later served in senior executive leadership in Miami, overseeing large-scale continuing education and workforce development initiatives before leading executive education at a major public research university in Texas.
Her work has included developing leadership and workforce solutions for Fortune 500 companies, healthcare systems, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and higher education institutions throughout the United States and internationally, including Kenya. She is frequently sought for her expertise in executive education strategy, organizational leadership, workforce development, and creating sustainable, revenue-generating professional education programs.
Dr. Baldwin holds a Ph.D. in Ethical Leadership and is the author of the forthcoming book, Lead Smart: The Essential Leadership Guide for Supervisors and the Mighty Middle.
